Odell Beckham Jr. landing spots: Bills and other teams that could use former Ravens WR

Odell Beckham Jr. has become an unrestricted free agent after being released from the Baltimore Ravens Wednesday night. The star played one season in Baltimore.
Last April, Beckham Jr. signed a one-year contract worth $18 million with the Ravens. However, he and the team reworked the contract's details to allow for a release before June 1 if they failed to reach an agreement before the start of the new season.
In 2022, the former 2014 NFL Offensive Rookies of the Year missed the entire season due to an ACL tear he sustained during Super Bowl LVI. However, in 2023, while playing with the Ravens, Beckham Jr. managed to record 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
Here are the potential landing spots for the veteran wide receiver for the 2024 season.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are reportedly searching for a wide receiver to assist quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefen Diggs following the Jacksonville Jaguars' signing of Gabriel Davis to a three-year, $39 million contract that could be worth up to $50 million. This follows interest they had in the star receiver last offseason.

Kansas City Chiefs
One possible team that Beckham Jr could join is the Kansas City Chiefs. However, it is uncertain whether the Chiefs are willing to pay the high cost for the veteran wide receiver who may be in his last season. The Chiefs have a strong team at the position with Rashee Rice as their starter, Justin Watson as WR2, and solid third options with Sky Moore and Kadarius Toney.
Kansas City released Marquez Valdes-Scantling, freeing up $12 million in cap space as he was heading into the final season of his three-year deal, per Over the Cap. Valdes-Scantling recorded 63 receptions for 1,002 yards and three touchdowns with the Chiefs in their back-to-back Super Bowl seasons.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have not made any significant signings this offseason, and Odell Beckham Jr. could be their first.
Although the Cowboys require help and are looking for depth in several other offensive positions, such as tackle, center, and running back, their need for a wide receiver is not as pressing. However, this does not necessarily mean that the team owner, Jerry Jones, will not surprise the free agency market by signing the veteran wide receiver.
Cowboys fans are still waiting for that "all-in" moment that Jerry Jones has been speaking about.
